WOYWW 133

What's on your workdesk Wednesday?  Well, a slightly tidier desk this week - it doesn't mean I'm on top of things though although I do feel I may be getting a little bit closer.  Cards all made and posted, presents that need to be made all done too.  You can see I've finished the second of the notebooks that I was covering with the recipients favourite designer paper and added titles cut on my silhouette, and the diary I am making for my daughter still just needs a few finishing touches.  The big book in the front is my Project Life - I'm a bit behind, that page is week of 21-27 November.  I've really enjoyed doing Project Life but it really does take up so much time - I guess if I had used the Kit then it would have been a bit easier.  Not sure if I'll be doing i next year....

The paper with the holes down the edge was my practice for the Bind it All - is anyone else like me?  I feel like a surgeon undertaking a major operation and have to do no end of practices first and then just hold my breath and hope it all lines up!  I've used my blades quite a bit this week on the Woodware Trimmer to give fancy edges to pages - I've got a couple of border punches but find them such a pain to line up.

So, that's about it - most crafting done for Christmas.

Have a lovely holiday and enjoy!

NB:  I think I may have got this wrong...I've only just jumped on board the WOYWW and had assumed that the number after was the total number of posts and that's what each week is but do we number them according to how many we actually participate in?  Hopefully someone coming along will let me know, thanks.

Great desk - love your book. The number in the header (i.e 133 this week) is the number of weeks WOYWW has been going - the numbers people leave (sometimes if we rememer) in our comments, is the number we appear in the list at Julia's so it's easy for you to find us to visit back (no obligation!!) Hope you keep joining in and have a Happy Christmas. Helen, at 3 (nearly forgot!)

Welcome on board the WOYWW train.I warn you it can be very addictive but oh so much fun. Thanks for stopping by. Didn't realise you can use different blades to get patterend edges with a woodware trimmer? I have several border punches and yes I agree they are a bind to get lined up. ruined many a sheet of paper that way. One of those binding machines is on my list of when I'm rich and famous (ie got pockets of dosh) to own untol then i'm just a dreaming of owning one. Have a super Christmas and a crafty New Year to you. Hugs Mrs A & Two Monkeys. #68 #69

Nope, no practice for me. I grab something up and go right to it and expect it to work out. Then when it doesn't I get annoyed. I'm not very patient.... luckily, not a brain surgeon either! (I'm a heart surgeon--just kidding!)

Oh sue, the number is nothing to worry about...it's the number of weeks that WOYWW has been running..I started to add it as we approached the second anniversary because I felt sure it would peak and fail, but haven't got out of the habit of numbering now! Like you I still have a couple last minute finishing touches to add, unlike you, I'm telling you this on Christmas eve because I'm late visiting!! Not too late to wish you a happy Christmas !
