It's my mother-in-law's birthday coming up so I wanted to have a go at making her a card. I had an old edition of Making Cards so used the backing paper from there along with the flower and vase topper. I then matted and layered the topper onto pearlescent card. I managed to use a couple of my new gadets ie the X-Cut corner punch, Friskars border edging and my embossing plate - even if it is just a couple of lines in the corner!
